With our practical approach to general aviation's needs across a wide variety of aircraft classes & types , we repair your damaged, deterioted or untidy external fiberglass components to as new condition with turnaround times and workmanship which meet or exceed your maintainance standards and schedules. High-tech Aluminium honeycomb components and structure as well as Radome Repairs are also within our scope. Repair and refurbishment of interior composite & plastic interior trim panels as well as honeycomb sandwich panels eg lockers, floor panels and galleys are all components we have repaired in the past. We also handle general items such as Wheel Spats, Cowls and Fairings and equipment of fiberglass construction eg Modern Lightweight Carbonfibre Cycle Frames REPLACEMENT COMPOSITE COMPONENT MANUFACTURE (MITCOM) Over the years we have helped develop and fabricate a wide variety of replacement , modification or improvement parts for aircraft which are manufactured with small lead times from a variety of materials such as Fibreglass, Carbonfibre, Kevlar and Aluminium and Nomex Honeycomb. If its unusual, hard or costly to obtain or is a one of specialty - we provide the result you want by working with you on the design and manufacture details right through to final fitment stage. Materials, processes and manufactured parts conform to CAR Reg 30 Critera. We turn your development and improvement requirement into reality SPECIALTY AVIATION PRODUCTS and SERVICES We have been involved in modification of Geophysical Survey Aircraft and the production of Stinger and Towed Equipment for this application. Staff are approved factory trained personell for any Cirrus Aircraft Repair needs and we have extensive knowledge in tooling and mould production for your project / development needs. A capability for part manufacture utilising modern “PrePreg” Fibreglass and Carbonfibre materials also exists. We also provide design capability through existing ,close, longstanding engineering relationships. ACRYLIC TRANSPARENCY MANUFACTURE We can manufacture (under Mitcom) a variety of side and rear replacement windows for many popular GA aircraft types as well as Wingtip, Landing Light, L.E. and Special Application Lenses. PLASTICS COMPONENT MANUFACTURE We have fabrication equipment as well as tooling for a small range of new Vacuum Formed Plastic Components up to a maximum of 650mm square. We are willing to work with you to add to this range and will provide all design and approval documentation. |
